Mental Retardation (TDMHMR) Contract Performance Targets regarding
the number of individuals served.

Accuracy
Met or exceeded TDMHMR Contract Performance Requirement of
95% accuracy on Quarterly Audits of Division records.
Home
and Community-Based Services
Received 90 new Home and Community-Based Services (HCS) slots.
Conducted HCS meetings and a provider fair to distribute information
on the process and available providers to consumers/families.
Intermediate
Care Facility Mental Retardation (ICF-MR)
Maintained certification in ICF-MR and HCS programs. Westbury
House, an ICF-MR facility, achieved 100% compliance in its
annual re-certification audit for the sixth year in a row.
The Pasadena Cottages, Applewhite, and Donsky facilities also
achieved 100% compliance in the annual state inspections.
Mental
Retardation Local Authority (MRLA)
Created MRLA web site to allow consumers/families, community
providers, and agency staff to explore the latest information
regarding MRLA, such as HCS reimbursement rates, frequently
asked questions, enrollment procedures, and listings of providers.
New
Day Treatment Program
Received Texas Education Association (TEA) accreditation for
New Day Treatment, which allows the program to contract with
local school districts to provide services to dually diagnosed
children.
Public
Forum
Conducted a public forum on Transportation to determine consumer/family
needs in the community and for MHMRA services.
Quality
Assurance and Improvement System (QAIS)
Analysis by the annual QAIS assessment indicated an improvement
from previous quarterly reviews. TDMHMR requested copies of
MHMRA materials for use with other MHMRs in the state.
Consumer
Satisfaction Survey
Determined that consumers and families were highly satisfied
with services based on a Consumer Satisfaction Survey conducted
by the agencys Research, Evaluation and Planning Department.
