VOLUNTEERS

"Unselfish acts are the real miracles out of which all reported miracles grow."
Clothing Room at Bristow Center– Ralph Waldo Emerson

MHMRA of Harris County provides services and support to people with mental retardation and mental illness. The agency does this so that people with mental disabilities can live with dignity and be as fully functioning in our community as possible. MHMRA volunteers perform a wide variety of services.

Whether you choose…
. . . to sort clothing donations and stock the clothing room,
. . . play games with a person who has mental retardation,
. . . read to a group of children while their parents attend a support group,
. . . assist with special events,
. . . or use your computer talents (even at home!) to enter data or work on special projects, be assured that . . .

Volunteers are valuable and appreciated by MHMRA of Harris County. The sky is the limit, so why not call today to find out how you can put your talents to use in a meaningful way?
