RETAIL ELECTRIC SERVICE

This Request for Proposal (RFP) does not represent an order or obligation on the part of MHMRA of Harris County Texas to any recipient. All expenses involved with responses to this request are the sole responsibility of the Recipient.

MENTAL HEALTH MENTAL RETARDATION AUTHORITY OF HARRIS COUNTY will be accepting Proposals for RETAIL ELECTRIC SERVICE

The Mental Health Mental Retardation Authority of Harris County (MHMRA) is soliciting proposals to supply electrical energy to the thirty-seven (37) electric meters at various sites operated by it in Harris County. Retail Electric Providers (REPs) that are certified by the Public Utilities Commission (PUC) of Texas and registered with the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) are eligible to respond to this request for proposals.

Questions pertaining to this RFP should be addressed in writing to James Eggebrecht by Tuesday, February 23, 2010. E-mail and fax are both acceptable forms of submitting questions. Answers will be sent to all known participants.

MHMRA reserves the rights to reject any and/or all proposals it deems to be in its best interests, to waive formalities and reasonable irregularities in submitted documents and is not obligated to accept the lowest proposal.
