Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Training Services are designed to help consumers at risk of losing their residence or family stability because of challenging behaviors. Our professional staff uses state-of-the-art behavioral methods to help consumers decrease their challenging behaviors and enhance social and self-management skills. Relying on behavioral data, the treatment team determines when a consumer has reached his or her goals and is ready to begin the transition back into community based programs.

The goal of ABA Training Services is to provide state-of-the-art behavioral technologies to assist individuals who display challenging behaviors to return to the community as quickly as possible. Each individual receives a functional assessment of his or her problem behavior(s). This assessment becomes part of the behavior plan and is included in the consumer’s "individual comprehensive habilitation plan." ABA Training Services includes the following components:
Because family and caregiver involvement is an important part of the overall treatment program, families and caregivers are encouraged to participate in the formulation of treatment plans and in periodic treatment plan reviews. How well the consumer maintains newly learned behaviors following completion of the program often depends on how well the consumer, family, and caregivers have learned to work together as a team. With this in mind, our professional staff provides consumers, families and caregivers with information of practical value in a post-discharge community setting.
