| CRISIS COUNCELING UNIT (CCU)
CCU ADMISSION CRITERIA:
Uninsured voluntary consumers ages 6 and older, AND
Resident of Harris County, AND
Accepts services voluntary and is willing to participate in therapy , AND
Understands that CCU provides time limited therapy (1 month) emphasis on non-priority population who do not qualify for MHMRA services, and one of the following :

Priority population diagnosis includes schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, and moderate to sever mood disorders. |
| |
Axis II disorders with an emphasis on bereavement, parent-child relational problems, partner relational problems, phase of life problems and other crisis related problems. |
| |
Co-occurring conditions in chronically medically ill/chemical abuse and mentally retarded/mentally ill are welcome. |
| |
No imminent danger to self or others. |
| |
Free from severe, general medical conditions causing psychiatric symptomatology |
