MHMRA of Harris County is now
The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD
We have changed our name to better reflect our mission, ensure continued access for those in the community who need and qualify for our assistance, as well as address recent changes in law pertaining to the use of the word “Retardation”.
After a detailed research analysis and careful considerations that included feedback from consumers, partners, our employees, and other members of the community, our Board of Trustees has approved our new name, tagline and logo.
